Our long weekend in New Orleans was a first time visit for both me AND Scot, so it was a surprise to us that we arrived just in time for the start of the carnival season! We managed to make our way around to see lots of sights, learn about the city’s rich history, tour the swamplands and of course, eat a ton of great food.
